Are you looking for long term local work in the Energy Sector within a blue chip organisation with impressive plans for growth? This contractor has been working for a substantial period of time on multiple frameworks with Northern Power Grid and, due to even further growth on this framework (as well as others), are looking to bolster their commercial team with the addition of an Assistant to Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor.
They have a strong existing commercial team with the ability to train and develop someone with a couple of years of Quantity Surveying experience and are open minded as to what that experience entails. In an ideal world, you will have practical working experience of working on Overhead Line work in the Transmission sector utilising the NEC4 contract. However, with transferable Quantity Surveying skills and the passion to join this exciting sector, training can be provided on both the subject matter and NEC contracts.
This contractor has an excellent name in the marketplace. They are predicting a turnover of roughly £380m next year with plans to grow this to £1bn by 2030. This provides extensive opportunities for career progression and development and, due to being part of a larger group, can also open doors into other sectors within the civil engineering industry.
This is an office based role with some site visits required and some flexibility for hybrid working. They are offering a salary between £35k to £55k dependent upon experience plus benefits package.
