We are working with a well-established, UK-wide infrastructure contractor delivering vital highways and civil engineering projects for local authorities across the country. Due to growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a long-term highways framework covering Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas working on schemes including cycle highways, public realm, junction improvements, road widening, installation of bus lanes and much more with projects ranging in value up to £20m.
In this role, you’ll take commercial responsibility for either one large project or a portfolio of smaller highways schemes, from early engagement through to final account. You’ll work closely with project teams, clients and supply chain partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with strong commercial control. The work is varied and will provide you with a tailored career development path.
To be considered for this role, you’ll have previous Quantity Surveying experience, ideally in highways or civil engineering, and be comfortable working within framework environments. A proactive and practical approach is key, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
