MBS Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a continually growing civil engineering contractor that has secured a flagship new build relief road project in Bedfordshire. With site works yet to commence, this is a rare opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to step in at the very beginning and play a key role in shaping how the project is commercially delivered from day one through to final account.
This position offers genuine ownership. You’ll be involved from pre-construction and early contractor engagement, supporting cost planning, procurement strategy, and risk management, before moving through delivery and close-out. Working closely with the project leadership team, you’ll help ensure commercial processes are followed on site, manage and delegate subcontract packages and drive value at every stage of the scheme.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in highways or major civil engineering projects and confident with managing more junior members of staff.
