Our client is a leading regional civil engineering contractor, well respected for its collaborative culture, strong community values and commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable infrastructure across the North of England.

They are a successful contractor on a number of Local Authority frameworks and have secured a huge pipeline of work throughout Yorkshire including two in the Barton-upon-Humber area for which they are now looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to help commercially lead these projects from ECI through to completion. One of the projects is a new link road and the other is a number of active travel schemes which includes public realm, cycleways, widened footpaths, streetscape enhancements and town centre improvements.

They pride themselves on the family feel culture of the business which proves its value in the high level of staff retention they embrace. Each individual is provided with a tailored career path with multiple opportunities for career development and growth.

They look for individuals to be on site three to four days a week with the other one or two being offered as working from home. They also work closely with individuals to provide flexible working patterns to ensure both parties remain committed to a high quality delivery on site.

They are ideally looking at a salary banding of between £40k to £55k dependent upon experience with company car or allowance, 26 days holiday and an annual discretionary bonus.
