Equipment Supervisor in Reading

As an Equipment Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our operations. You will lead and support a team of technicians, operatives, and trainees, overseeing all aspects of equipment preparation, quality control, and storage. Working closely with other departments, youll make sure every item of equipment meets company standards and is delivered to clients on time and in excellent condition.

Your responsibilities will include supervising daily operations, allocating tasks, and training team members to perform their duties to a high standard. Youll encourage continuous improvement within the department, maintaining a positive, professional, and safety-focused environment. Communication will be central to your role, as you will liaise with the Equipment Control, Sales, and Inventory teams to resolve stock queries, manage shortages, and ensure smooth equipment flow across all stages of the process.

You will also take an active role in asset management and storage control, developing more efficient systems and processes to improve accuracy and reduce risks. By maintaining strong attention to detail, youll ensure all equipment is properly tested, coded, stored, and compliant with company quality measures before leaving the department.
