MBS Chartered Surveyors is expanding its trusted independent surveyor network across North West England, with a primary focus on Greater Manchester and surrounding counties. We are engaging experienced, RICS-regulated surveyors to deliver Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys on a freelance basis. This role is suitable for professionals who can operate independently, produce defensible reports, and maintain high client-facing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake RICS Home Survey Level 2 and Level 3 inspections
- Diagnose defects and building pathology across residential property types
- Produce clear, accurate, and defensible written reports within agreed turnaround times
- Maintain professional conduct during all site inspections
- Comply with MBS quality, compliance, and reporting standards
Essential Requirements
- MRICS, AssocRICS, or FRICS (advantage)
- Minimum 100 completed Level 2 / Level 3 residential surveys
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and defect diagnosis
- Excellent written communication and report clarity
- Ability to cover Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, and nearby areas
- UK driving licence required
