Dentaid MBR Dental are currently assisting Dentaid, a not-for-profit dental charity, to recruit Locum Dentists to work on a temporary basis at a variety of locations in Newport, Gwent, South Wales. Ad hoc days available. Locum dentist contracts ongoing until further notice. Monday to Fridays available (days to be confirmed). Regular ad hoc days available per month.
The dentist will be travelling to remote locations to support patients from deprived backgrounds such as homeless, domestic abuse, addiction, refugee and asylum seekers, families, looked after children, as well as many other vulnerable groups.
Locum Dentist required to provide emergency dental treatments and primary dental care services. Complex dental treatments to be referred. You will be working between 4-6 hours per day. £450 day rate. No lab bills. Working from a mobile dental unit. Support from a dental nurse and clinical supervisor. Private only basis, no performer number required.
All dentists must have 4+ years post graduate (within the UK) and be registered with the GDC with 4+ years UK dentistry experience. A recent Enhanced DBS will be required on request. No visa sponsorships are available for this position.
