MBR Dental are currently assisting Dentaid, a not-for-profit dental charity, to recruit Locum Dentists to support their services across Somerset and surrounding areas, including Yeovil, Mendip, Glastonbury, Taunton, and Bridgwater. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the community, providing essential dental care to vulnerable patients.

Position Details

  • Ad hoc locum shifts available
  • Ongoing contracts until further notice
  • Monday to Friday availability (flexible days)
  • Regular monthly locum opportunities
  • Working hours: 4–6 hours per day
  • £450 per day rate
  • No lab bills

About the Role

  • Working from a mobile dental unit
  • Providing emergency dental treatment and primary care
  • Referring complex cases as appropriate
  • Travelling to community locations and outreach settings

You will be supporting patients from a wide range of backgrounds, including:

  • Individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Refugees and asylum seekers
  • People affected by domestic abuse
  • Patients with addiction support needs
  • Families and looked‑after children
  • Other vulnerable and underserved groups
