MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire to recruit an Oral Health Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
Overview
The successful candidate will be a GDC registered Dental Nurse with an Oral Health qualification and will support dental teams in delivering oral health care and education to patients and communities in South Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
- Dental Nurses will assist in chairside duties, mixing materials, and infection control.
- Deliver targeted oral health education, prevention, and promotion to patients and communities across South Yorkshire.
- Hold Oral Health clinics in practices, providing advice to patients and members of the public.
- Work with early years groups as part of outreach or in-practice activities.
- Operate in a modern, computerised practice with a supportive team of Nurses and clinicians.
- Parking is available.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a dental nursing role.
- Further qualifications in Oral Health (either a 2-year OHP Practitioner Course or Completion of the Flexible Commissioning course through HEE, Max Course).
- Practice is unable to consider Nurses without the above qualifications.
- All candidates must be GDC registered Dental Nurses and hold a valid DBS to be considered.

- Available as soon as possible; notice periods are taken into consideration.
- Mixed practice environment.
- Full or part time opportunity – 3-5 days per week available.
- Monday – Friday with working hours to be discussed.
- Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
- Fully funded GDC, CPD & professional indemnity fees.
- Uniform provided.
