MBR Dental are currently assisting an organisation operating in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire to recruit a Prison Dentist to work within HMP Littlehey prison. This is a permanent position, with one initial locum trial day required. The role is available as soon as possible, and notice periods are taken into consideration. It is a part-time opportunity, specifically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The fixed rate is £500 per day. Due to the nature of the role, there will be no UDA targets or lab bills. The practice requires a general dentist practitioner who can provide a full range of NHS treatments and oral health education.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and feel confident offering patient-centred care to the highest clinical standard. Knowledge of SOE software is advantageous though not essential. This position would suit both candidates already working in community dental/prison services and those from a general practice background, as full training and induction are provided.

Onsite parking is available. All candidates must be registered with the GDC and hold an active performer number to be considered. A recent DBS certificate will also be required on request.
