MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Leeds, West Yorkshire to recruit an Oral Health Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in chairside duties, mixing materials, infection control, delivering targeted oral health education, prevention and promotion to patients and communities across West Yorkshire.
- Hold Oral Health clinics in practices, providing advice to patients and members of the public.
- Work with early years groups.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a dental nursing role.
- Oral Health qualification: 2-year OHP Practitioner Course or Completion of the Flexible Commissioning course through HEE (Max Course).
- GDC registered Dental Nurse and hold a valid DBS.
Employment details:
- Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.
- Contract: Permanent; full or part time – 3-5 days per week available.
- Working pattern: Monday – Friday with hours to be discussed.
- Start: Available as soon as possible; notice periods are taken into consideration.
- Rate of pay: Negotiable depending on experience.
- Practice: Mixed practice environment; modern, computerised; parking available; uniform provided; supportive team of Nurses & clinicians.
- Funding: Fully funded GDC, CPD & professional indemnity fees.
Note: Practice unable to consider Nurses without the specified qualifications.
