Dental Nurse
Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Hours: 1 day per week - Saturday, 7:45am-4:30pm
Salary: £25,000-£26,000 per annum (FTE), depending on experience
MBR Dental are currently assisting a well-established dental practice in Winchester, Hampshire, with the recruitment of a Dental Nurse to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Dental Nurse looking for a regular part-time position within a supportive practice offering opportunities for professional development and progression.
About the Role
As a Dental Nurse, you will support the clinical team and help provide a high standard of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Supporting patients throughout their treatment
- Preparing surgeries and ensuring they are fully equipped
- Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments
- Maintaining dental equipment and surgery areas
- Following infection control procedures and CQC requirements
- Assisting with general practice procedures
- Occasional reception and administrative duties
The practice provides general dentistry alongside Orthodontics and Implants, offering a varied and interesting working environment.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least 1 year of Dental Nursing experience
- Be GDC registered
- Hold a valid DBS
- Have a professional and caring approach to patient care
- Be reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have Dentally experience (preferred but not essential)
