MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Leeds, West Yorkshire to recruit an Oral Health Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis. Available as soon as possible. Notice periods are taken into consideration.
Mixed practice environment. Full or part time opportunity – 3-5 days per week available. Monday – Friday with working hours to be discussed. Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience. Fully funded GDC, CPD & professional indemnity fees. Uniform provided.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a dental nursing role & also have further qualifications in Oral Health, either: 2-year OHP Practitioner Course or Completion of the Flexible Commissioning course through HEE (Max Course). Practice are unable to consider Nurses without the above qualifications.
Duties include:
- Chairside assistance
- Mixing materials
- Infection control
- Delivering targeted oral health education, prevention & promotion to patients & communities across West Yorkshire
- Holding Oral Health clinics in practices, providing advice to patients & members of the public
- Working with early years groups
Modern, computerised practice. Supportive team of Nurses & clinicians. Parking available. All candidates must be a GDC registered Dental Nurse & hold a valid DBS to be considered.
