MBP Solutionsislooking for an Accountant to join our Finance teamnear Skipton.

This is a hands-on rolesupporting our international entities, withresponsibility foraccurateaccounting, management reporting, analysisandprocessimprovement.

Itcould suitan experienced Accountant, or a capable Finance Analyst, Assistant Accountant or Management Accountantready for a broader role.

You may be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience; what matters isstrong accounting knowledge, confidence working independently and experience in a multi-entity, multi-currencyor internationalfinance environment.

What You’ll Do

You’llbe involved in

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and investigation of results.
  • Supporting group reporting across profit and loss, balance sheet, cashflowand ad hoc analysis.
  • Completing reconciliations, supporting documentation and routine accounting tasks forallocated MBP companies.
  • Preparing VAT returns, Intrastat reporting, arrivalsand dispatches for relevant entities.
  • Contributing to budgeting, forecastingand financial analysis.
  • Improving finance routines, procedures, reportingqualityand team efficiency.

Who are You?

We’relooking for someone who can combine technical accuracy with curiosity, ownershipand clear communication. You’llbring:

  • Experience in management accounting, reporting, reconciliationsand variance analysis.
  • Exposure to multinational, multi-entityor multi-currency finance processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and the ability to turn data into clear insight.
  • The ability to work independently, manage deadlines and take ownership of your areas.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to suggest and support improvements.
  • Business-level English. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system would be an advantage.
