MBN Solutions are partnered with a leading, not-for-profit Medical Research organisation looking to hire a Head of Data Technology to shape and deliver its enterprise data vision.This senior leadership role will oversee the design, implementation, and optimisation of data platforms, governance, and analytics capabilities that enable smarter, data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams in data engineering, management, governance, and analytics enablement.
• Define and deliver a scalable data and analytics architecture that supports organisational strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement in data platforms, ensuring quality, security, and compliance.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, shaping the roadmap for data technologies and operations.
• Champion data governance and best practices, embedding them across teams and functions.

About you:

• Proven experience leading large, cross-functional data teams in complex organisations.
• Deep understanding of modern data architectures, platforms, and tools (e.g. Snowflake, cloud ecosystems, AI/ML)
• Skilled in delivering enterprise-scale data strategies that drive measurable impact
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
