We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and motivated vet to fill this role, and in return we offer great support, exciting career development and a healthy work-life balance. Shifts are a mixture of consult-only, surgery and consultations or hospital work. We expect all of our vets to be confident with consultations, routine surgery and in-patient care, however we would happily accommodate anyone wishing for a consult only role
We are seeking a confident and competent vet to join our amazing close-knit team and continue to deliver the high-quality service to our clients and patients that we pride ourselves in. You will mainly be based out of our Kilmarnock branch but shifts at our branches in Mauchline and Beith may be required. 15-minute consultations as standard, with 30 minutes for new patients, bandage changes or trickier cases
Are you looking for a better work life balance?
Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that works around you and your lifestyle, no matter what stage you are in your career.
Ideally, we have up to 40 hours per week available, across 4 or 5 days with a 1:3 Saturday rota (8:00am-1:00pm) and no OOH, but should you require less hours we will also consider this. We are also a VetsNow OOH host practice, meaning that patients requiring 24-hour hospitalisation can be kept in-house without the need for organising transportation of potentially sick animals or those still recovering from anaesthetic.
