We're recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to join a growing and ambitious travel business. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for the full finance function, overseeing financial planning, forecasting, cashflow management, board reporting, statutory compliance, and management accounts. You'll lead a team of finance professionals while working closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Leading and developing the finance team
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
- Ownership of monthly management accounts and board reporting
- Managing external compliance, audits, VAT, and industry renewals
- Driving process improvements, automation, and systems development
- Supporting pricing, commercial decisions, and wider business transformation projects
- Building strong relationships across the business as a trusted finance partner
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Previous Financial Controller experience within the travel sector
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical capabilities
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
