Our Client are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner to support their wealth management team in delivering exceptional service to their clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in client servicing, portfolio administration, compliance, and operational support, ensuring seamless execution of day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities
- Client Service & Relationship Support
- Assist with onboarding new clients, including KYC/AML checks and account opening documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date client files, investment mandates, and regulatory records.
- Respond to client queries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Portfolio & Investment Administration
- Process investment instructions as instructed.
- Support preparation of portfolio valuations, performance reports, and investment proposals.
- Assisting IFA with research and running reports on FE.
- Building suitability reports and preparing for client review meetings.
- Organising fund values, LOAs and portfolio builds.
- Operational & Financial Support
- Liaise with investment platforms to ensure accurate settlements and reconciliations.
- Process payments and transfers in a timely manner.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all processes comply with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct AML, KYC, and due diligence checks in line with internal policies.
- Administrative Support
- Diary management.
- Provide general administrative support to advisors.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with wealth management operations, compliance, and client servicing.
Required Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM/portfolio management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in financial services industry a must.
Pay range and compensation package
- Working hours 37.5 hours per week β office based.
- Salary Β£30-Β£50k+ based upon experience.
- Quarterly company bonus based upon company performance and Managers discretion.
- They provide access to a qualifying workplace pension with Standard Life. After 3 months of employment they contribute 3%, employee contributes 5% of basic pay.
- 22 days holiday.
