- Carrying out assessments
- Obtaining multi-disciplinary assessment of need
- Duty work
- Managing a caseload of service users
- Making recommendations for short-term, intermittent, and permanent residential care where appropriate
- Managing self-directed support/personal budgets
- Handling Court of Protection applications including Finance and Welfare
