Description
The successful candidate will undertake the following duties as part of their day-to-day role, while developing their skills and taking on broader responsibilities throughout the duration of the apprenticeship:
- General Housekeeping.
- Go to collections in the UK/EU to collect IT equipment.
- Perform troubleshoot activities.
- Accurately diagnose any hardware and software issues with computers, laptops, mobile phones, and any equipment that come into the business.
- Repair, maintain and upgrade all types of computers/equipment.
- Receive, store and distribute equipment to appropriate departments, customers in a timely manner.
- Deal with customer queries.
- Inspection of incoming goods and outbound for damage and report to line manager.
- Record all information following company guidelines
Requirements
The ideal apprenticeship candidate will demonstrate the below qualities as a part of the requirements:
- Punctuality
- a flexible approach to work
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions, whilst also showing some autonomy
- Attention to detail
- Computer literate (training given on all relevant systems)
- Compliant with all GDPR and privacy policies
