The wealth planning arm of a leading global investment managers is seeking to recruit a high quality wealth planner within a background in provide complex advice to UHNW private clients.
Their Wealth Planning team provides comprehensive financial advisory services to clients and prospects of the Wealth Management business. This includes regulated advice on pensions, tax, and general financial guidance, serving as the cornerstone of our wealth management offering.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of high-value client relationships, overseeing their wealth planning strategies.
- Develop new client relationships through active marketing efforts and your professional network.
- Provide financial advice across various aspects of clients' lives, ensuring profitability, compliance, and alignment with their best interests.
- Conduct regular client meetings, document agreed actions, and ensure swift implementation.
- Take primary responsibility for new client setup, sign-off, and suitability for advice structures.
- Identify and communicate new planning opportunities beneficial to clients.
- Serve as a knowledge resource for portfolio managers on financial planning matters.
- Contribute content for external distribution and internal training.
- Continuously update your knowledge through professional development and examinations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in advising high-net-worth individuals on wealth planning and tax strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of pensions and taxation.
- FCA-approved regulatory qualification at Level 4 or above.
- Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, Chartered Financial Planner, or equivalent.
- Current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with fund management, professional advisory, IFA, or life company industry.
- Pension Transfer Specialist qualification.
- Excellent understanding of major wealth planning strategies in the UK marketplace.
- Knowledge of Intelliflo Office and The Exchange.
