We are working with a prestigious wealth management firm to recruit a Business Manager / Training & Competence (T&C) Manager for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential to become permanent. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of advisers by combining structured T&C oversight with hands-on coaching and strategic business guidance.
About the Role:
You’ll be instrumental in managing the development journey of Trainee and Junior Advisers—ensuring they meet regulatory standards, gain confidence in client interactions, and learn how to build commercially sound and compliant advice businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full development lifecycle of new advisers, ensuring alignment with FCA T&C requirements.
- Deliver regular competency assessments, coaching sessions, and structured feedback.
- Guide individuals through key milestones such as CPD, SPS, and qualification completion.
- Provide support on client engagement, sales confidence, and business development skills.
- Track and report on adviser performance and progress.
- Maintain robust audit trails and ensure full regulatory compliance.
