Job Description
Are you looking for a clear route into financial advice with a leading name in the UK’s financial planning name sector? This Trainee Financial Adviser role offers a first-class opportunity to transition into a fully-fledged advisory position within 18-24 months (potentially sooner).
The Opportunity:
- Work directly with senior advisers to support client onboarding, advice delivery, and ongoing servicing of an established client bank.
- Engage in client meetings, presenting cash flow forecasts, performance reports, and advice recommendations.
- Benefit from fully funded training towards Chartered status while gaining hands-on experience in technical and commercial aspects of financial planning.
- Support business development efforts, including networking, presentations, and building relationships with key intermediaries.
- Role based between City and Surrey so must be able to commute to both
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2:1 degree (any discipline).
- Ideally Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards).
- 2-3 years’ experience in a client-facing role within financial planning, most likely as a Paraplanner or similar.
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills with a passion for financial advice.
