An established and growing financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to take over a well-maintained client portfolio from a retiring Adviser based around the Solihull area. This is an excellent opportunity for an Adviser who enjoys delivering high-quality ongoing advice and building long-term client relationships, rather than focusing heavily on new business generation.
The Opportunity
- Basic salary of £50,000
- Existing client bank of approximately 130–140 clients
- £220,000 recurring ongoing income attached to the portfolio with full validation credit given
- Bonus structure based on recurring income and new business generated
- Remote and field-based role with no requirement to attend an office
- Benefits including Pension, Death in Service and Private Medical Insurance
Bonus Structure
The incoming Adviser will receive full credit for the existing £220,000 ongoing income attached to the client bank. With a validation threshold of 3x salary (£150,000), this means the successful candidate would immediately earn a 25% bonus on the £70,000 excess recurring income already attached to the portfolio. In addition, a further 25% bonus is payable on any additional new business generated.

- Well suited to someone who enjoys servicing and nurturing an existing book rather than a pure business development role
