I’m working with a well-established UK wealth management business that’s looking for a confident and organised Senior Financial Planning Administrator. If you enjoy being the person who keeps everything running smoothly, supports advisers and builds great relationships with clients, this role could be a perfect fit.
The Role
You’ll be a key support for the Wealth Planners, handling everything from client onboarding and meeting preparation to follow-up actions and general administration. You’ll take ownership of keeping client records accurate, coordinating with internal teams and ensuring clients always feel well looked after. It’s a role that suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things properly and likes to be part of a collaborative, friendly team. You’ll also help guide newer team members and contribute to making processes more efficient along the way.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing documents, reports and meeting packs
- Managing client data and onboarding requirements
- Handling general client queries and correspondence
- Coordinating with paraplanning, client services and providers
- Supporting planners with diary management and post-meeting tasks
- Preparing application forms and letters of authority
- Sharing knowledge with junior team members and supporting team improvements
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in financial or wealth planning administration
- Strong understanding of financial planning processes
- Excellent communication skills
- High accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with XPlan or Voyant is helpful but not essential
- A proactive, team-focused approach
