Paraplanner – Award-Winning Financial Planning Firm

Location: Newcastle (Hybrid – 2 days in-office, 3 days from home)

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Performance-Based Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We’re working on behalf of a respected, award-winning Independent Financial Planning & Investment Management firm to recruit a talented Paraplanner to join their growing team in Newcastle .

The Role

You’ll work alongside Chartered Financial Planners, delivering high-quality technical support including cash flow modelling and tailored suitability reports. The firm places strong value on quality of work and provides a clear development pathway for Paraplanners at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse client data and financial arrangements
• Build cash flow models and write detailed suitability reports
• Collaborate with advisers to design financial solutions
• Provide technical input to the wider team
• Participate in peer reviews, team meetings, and ongoing process improvements
• Support and mentor more junior team members
• Attend client meetings where required

What We’re Looking For

• CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum requirement)
• At least 3 years’ experience in a paraplanning role
• Strong understanding of financial planning and tax considerations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Experience with systems such as Voyant, FE Analytics, or Curo (advantageous)

Progression & Development

• For those interested in advice, they now offer a Financial Planning Associate programme – a structured trainee route into an adviser role and support for further qualifications
• For those who wish to remain technical, full sponsorship for further qualifications (including Chartered status) is available as well as opportunities to mentor/ lead other members of the team.

• Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
