We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support financial planning services within a well‐established Financial Planning firm based in the South West. The business is employee‐owned, has a collaborative culture and a strong focus on quality, accuracy and career development for its staff. This role is ideal for a technically capable Paraplanner looking to further develop expertise within a highly professional setting, gaining exposure to complex financial planning work.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare high‐quality cashflow models, research and suitability reports
  • Contribute to technical discussions and strategy development within a leading planning team
  • Attend client meetings and gain first‐hand exposure to UHNW client relationships – if desired

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial planning reports and client recommendations to a high standard
  • Conduct research and analysis across pensions, investments, taxation, and estate planning
  • Support Financial Planning Directors in delivering advice and annual reviews
  • Manage your own workload and maintain exceptional attention to detail
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and best practice in advice delivery

About You:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or within two exams)
  • 2–3 years of paraplanning experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and taxation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, detail‐oriented, and eager to continue developing professionally

Package:

  • Basic salary up to £47,000 (depending on experience)
  • Hybrid working – typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
