A leading UK wealth management firm is looking for a Level 4 Diploma qualified Paraplanner to join its well-established and highly respected Financial Planning team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner seeking to step up into a top-tier private wealth environment, working closely on a one-to-one basis with a Senior Financial Planning Director and their portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients. You’ll be part of a collaborative, knowledgeable and supportive team where high-quality advice, strong professional standards and long-term career development are key priorities. The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a technically capable Paraplanner who wants to further develop their expertise within a highly professional setting. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial planning reports and client recommendations to a high standard
- Conduct research and analysis across pensions, investments, taxation, and estate planning
- Support Financial Planning Directors in delivering advice and annual reviews
- Manage your own workload and maintain exceptional attention to detail
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and best practice in advice delivery
About You
- 2–3 years of paraplanning experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and taxation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to continue developing professionally
- Able to attend the Exeter office several times per week as part of a hybrid arrangement
