Paraplanner

A boutique firm of Financial Planners based in the picturesque village of Pulford, Cheshire is expanding its team and looking to appoint its first employee - a talented and motivated Paraplanner. With three experienced Directors, all of whom are practicing Financial Planners, the firm offers a unique opportunity to join at an exciting stage of growth.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role supporting the Directors across a broad range of financial planning activities. As Paraplanner, you will play a key part in delivering a high-quality client experience, taking responsibility for:

• Conducting detailed product and investment research
• Writing clear and compliant suitability reports
• Processing new business and maintaining accurate client records
• Supporting client review processes and general administration
• Helping ensure the smooth operation of the business day-to-day

With this being the firm’s first hire, there is significant potential for career development. The Directors are open to shaping the role around the strengths and ambitions of the right candidate, offering flexibility to grow into technical, managerial, or client-facing areas over time.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will need to be:

• An experienced Paraplanner with a solid understanding of financial planning
• Ideally Level 4 qualified (e.g., CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning), though strong candidates working towards qualification will also be considered
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and professional in your approach
• A team player who is comfortable working independently in a small business environment
