An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Paraplanner to join a prestigious, City-based Private Bank on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is a rare chance to work with a high-performing Wealth Planning team supporting an established UHNW client base. While this is initially a contract role, there is potential for it to become permanent.
About the Organisation: You’ll be joining a leading Private Bank with a long-standing reputation for discretion, client care, and excellence in financial planning. Based in the City of London, the bank fosters a collaborative, inclusive culture with a strong track record of internal progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare compliant, high-quality suitability reports for HNW/UHNW clients
- Attend client meetings alongside Wealth Planners and Investment Managers
- Support with technical research, cashflow modelling (Voyant), and advice construction
- Contribute to advice process improvements and internal projects
- Liaise with Compliance and Training teams to maintain high reporting standards
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a Paraplanning role
- Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent – Level 4)
- Sound knowledge of pensions, investments, protection & estate planning
- Comfortable supporting complex, high-value clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with platforms/tools such as Voyant, SelectaPension, Financial Express is a plus
