An established, relationship-led private bank is looking to appoint a Financial Planner to join its Wealth Management team in the North East. This opportunity is ideally suited to individuals in the early stages of their advisory career who are looking to develop within a highly supportive, long-term environment. The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships across the branch network to support business development
- Develop your own portfolio of clients over time
- Deliver holistic financial planning advice across investments, pensions, tax and estate planning
- Understand client objectives, risk appetite and capacity for loss
- Work collaboratively with internal specialists across tax, pensions and investment management
- Support senior colleagues with client relationships where appropriate
- Ensure all advice is compliant and aligned with internal risk frameworks
Candidate Profile
- Currently in an advisory role or in the early stages of advising
- Up to approximately 6 years’ experience within financial planning
- Strong desire to progress toward Chartered status
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- A long‑term, client‑first mindset
Location & Travel
- North East based role
- Supporting a regional patch including Newcastle, Yorkshire, County Durham and Teesside
- Regular travel across the region required
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience
- 15% non‑contributory pension
