A leading, award-winning national wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join its growing South West team based in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to inherit a well-established portfolio of approximately 100 clients, consisting primarily of HNW and UHNW clients. The focus of the role is on delivering high-quality, holistic financial planning and maintaining long-term client relationships.
The Opportunity
- You will take responsibility for a substantial and high-value client bank, providing tailored advice across a full range of financial planning areas.
- Working closely with another senior Financial Planner in the office, you will also play a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of the regional business.
- With full paraplanning and administrative support provided both locally and via a centralised team, you will be able to focus your time on client interaction and delivering exceptional advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of c.100 HNW/UHNW clients
- Deliver holistic financial planning and build long-term client relationships
- Conduct regular client reviews and ensure ongoing suitability of advice
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the regional offering
- Contribute to the growth and success of the South West operation
About You
- Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Financial Adviser / Financial Planner
- Diploma qualified (Level 4) as a minimum
- Holds a current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
- Strong relationship management skills with a client-first approach
- Experience working with HNW/UHNW clients is highly desirable
- Comfortable using CRM systems and cashflow modelling tools
- Passionate about delivering holistic, advice-led financial planning
