mbf are working with a successful, fully Independent Financial Planning organisation to recruit an experienced Financial Adviser. Our client is an established business with a fantastic reputation providing holistic financial solutions to clients across the Devon & Somerset regions. They are now seeking to recruit a Financial Adviser to join their team to take over a substantial book of clients.
The Managing Director has an extensive client portfolio; they are looking to hand off a large amount of these clients so they can focus on growing the business - the client bank you will be inheriting will be in the region of £30M AUM.
The main focus of this role will be to provide an exceptional level of service ensuring a high level of client retention, although you will also be expected to organically develop new business from these existing clients and from the clients’ professional introducers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic financial advice tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence.
- Collaborate closely with in-house accountants to leverage their expertise and provide integrated solutions to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the highest level of service and compliance.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a financial adviser, preferably in an independent capacity.
- Demonstrated track record of success in building and managing client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and retirement planning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Basic salary circa £65,000 (although this can be flexible for the right individual) + performance-based bonuses.
