The Role
As an IFA Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to Independent Financial Advisers, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of client services and the efficient management of financial planning processes. The role will suit someone with previous experience within an IFA environment, but the company is also open to candidates with broader financial services administration experience, including backgrounds in platforms, pensions, investments, wealth management or other regulated financial services roles.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating day‑to‑day administration for client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Preparing client documentation, reports, and correspondence to support advisers and client reviews
- Assisting with financial planning processes, including gathering information and maintaining accurate client records
- Processing and administering pension, investment, and platform‑related tasks
- Supporting advisers with meeting preparation, diary management, and client communications
- Maintaining internal systems and records using Microsoft Office and company platforms
- Responding to client queries professionally and efficiently, providing a high level of service
- Assisting with portfolio information, valuations, and supporting documentation for client meetings
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in financial services administration, ideally within an IFA, wealth management, pensions, investments, or platform environment
- A good understanding of financial services processes and terminology
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and administrative skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good analytical skills and the ability to prepare accurate reports and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
