Wealth Planning Assistant
Location: Worcester (Office-based, Monday to Friday)
Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum + full company benefits
An established and respected wealth management firm is looking to recruit a professional and detail-oriented Wealth Planning Assistant to join their team in Worcester. This is a permanent, full-time, office-based role offering a clear opportunity to grow within a reputable and supportive environment.
The Role
As a Wealth Planning Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting Wealth Planners in delivering an exceptional client experience. You’ll manage a wide range of administrative tasks including preparing client documentation, liaising with providers, maintaining client records, and supporting the end-to-end wealth planning process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to Wealth Planners
- Attending client meetings and completing follow-up tasks
- Preparing documentation, application forms, and service agreements
- Managing client communications and correspondence
- Coordinating meeting packs, valuations, and diary management
- Ensuring all data is accurately recorded in internal systems (e.g. XPlan)
- Assisting with onboarding processes including CDD and AML checks
The Candidate
This role would suit someone with prior experience in financial services or wealth management administration. You’ll be client-focused, organised, and capable of working accurately within compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of financial planning products and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
- Experience using platforms such as XPlan or Voyant is desirable
- Familiarity with FCA conduct rules and compliance requirements
