About the Opportunity
We are working with a well-established national firm of Independent Financial Advisers that is continuing to expand its presence in Scotland. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced IFA who is looking to progress their career within a whole of market environment that can genuinely compete with major national restricted wealth managers. The business has the financial strength, infrastructure and investment capability to support advisers in building long-term, high-quality client relationships without the constraints often found in smaller or restricted firms.
The Role
As an Independent Financial Adviser, you will take responsibility for an established client bank while continuing to develop new relationships and grow your portfolio. You will benefit from full paraplanning and administrative support, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, holistic financial advice.
- Managing and developing an existing client bank of approximately £25m-£30m+ AUM
- Providing holistic financial planning and whole of market advice
- Building long-term relationships with high-net-worth and mass affluent clients
- Identifying opportunities for business growth through referrals and professional connections
- Working closely with dedicated paraplanning and support teams to deliver an excellent client experience
- Maintaining strong regulatory and compliance standards
About You
This role is ideal for an adviser who is still relatively early in their career but has already gained solid experience in a regulated advisory environment. You will be confident managing your own client relationships and motivated to build further success within a supportive and growth-focused organisation.
You will likely have:
- A few years’ experience as a Financial Adviser or IFA
- Experience managing a client bank of at least £25m+
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and holistic financial planning
- A client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Motivation to develop your career within a high-quality whole of market firm
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
What’s on Offer
This is an opportunity to join a business that invests heavily in its advisers and provides the infrastructure needed to scale your career effectively. You can expect:
- Competitive basic salary with strong bonus potential
- Full paraplanning and administrative support
- Access to a well-established client base with ongoing growth potential
- Strong investment in professional development and career progression
- A stable, reputable national firm with significant financial backing
- A collaborative and supportive working culture focused on long-term success
If you are an ambitious IFA looking to take the next step in your career within a whole of market environment that offers real progression and support, we would be interested in speaking with you.
