Our client, a highly respected and growing financial planning firm based in London, is seeking an ambitious Paraplanner who is looking for a clear and supported pathway into a Financial Adviser role within the next 18 months to 3 years. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking wealth management business that is committed to developing future advisers from within. You will work closely with experienced advisers and senior leadership, receiving hands-on training, mentoring, and exposure to client-facing responsibilities as you progress.

The Opportunity

  • Prepare suitability reports and financial planning recommendations.
  • Conduct research across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning.
  • Work closely with experienced Financial Advisers on client cases.
  • Receive structured training and mentoring to support your transition into advice.
  • Gain increasing involvement in client meetings and relationship management as your development progresses.
  • Follow a clearly defined progression plan with regular development reviews.

About You

  • 1-2+ years' experience in a Paraplanning role within a financial planning or wealth management firm.
  • Working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • Ideally 3-4 exams completed, although this is not essential.
  • Strong report writing and technical research skills.
  • Ambitious, professional, and committed to becoming a Financial Adviser in the future.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
