An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wealth Planner / Financial Planner to join a highly respected and growing financial planning and investment management firm. The business is expanding its Financial Planning Division and is seeking a technically proficient, client-focused professional to help drive the development of its private client offering in Cheltenham.
You’ll be the first Financial Planner within this new regional team, working closely with highly experienced Investment Directors to deliver a truly holistic level of service to clients. The role will involve taking on an existing client base, servicing new leads and building strong relationships with Investment Directors to ensure clients receive seamless advice across both investment management and financial planning. In addition, you’ll have the autonomy to generate new business opportunities and play a key role in the continued growth of the region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide bespoke financial planning advice to private clients
- Work closely with Investment Directors to deliver a holistic client experience
- Manage and develop ongoing client relationships
- Attend client meetings and networking events
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Experienced Financial Planner / Wealth Planner (ideally Chartered, or progressing towards Chartered status)
- Strong technical knowledge and relationship management skills
- Proactive, self-sufficient, and business-development minded
- Passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes
- Basic salary circa £80,000 (dependent on experience)
