Our client, a highly regarded wealth and investment management firm, is seeking an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to join their Private Client team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial planning professional to take on a key role within a firm known for its integrated restricted model, robust client base and commitment to delivering tailored investment and wealth management solutions.

The Role

As a Chartered Financial Planner, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. You will play a pivotal role in developing new business, managing existing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fee-based advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic financial planning and wealth management advice across investments, pensions, tax planning, inheritance planning, and protection solutions.
  • Lead client meetings, prepare financial planning reports, and ensure suitability standards are met.
  • Collaborate with internal investment managers, tax specialists, and external professional connections to enhance client service.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of investment markets, regulatory requirements (FCA), and financial planning strategies.
  • Contribute to business development through networking, referrals, and professional connections.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, working with HNW/UHNW clients.
  • Chartered Financial Planner status (CII or CISI).
  • Strong knowledge of investment strategies, estate planning, retirement solutions, and tax-efficient structures (e.g., ISAs, SIPPs, Trusts, Offshore Bonds).
  • Business development mindset with a track record of growing client portfolios.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
