We are partnering with a leading global provider of insurance software and services to find a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Broking Business Analyst. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a major player in the insurance technology space, impacting clients worldwide. About the Role:
This Senior Broking Business Analyst role demands a deep understanding of London Market wholesale insurance processes, specifically Policy, Claims, and Technical Accounting. You will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of messaging flows within broking systems, demonstrating a strong understanding of initiatives such as Lloyd\’s Future of Lloyd\’s / Blueprint II and their impact on broking technology.
Working collaboratively with software vendors, brokers, and underwriters, you will define functional requirements and guide the development of new products and features. Experience with at least one major Insurance Broking system is essential, along with confident presentation and client communication skills. The ability to manage client expectations and navigate challenging situations is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise stakeholders on solution possibilities and limitations.
- Gather and document client requirements.
- Collaborate on business and functional documents.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal development teams.
- Participate in internal quality reviews.
- Support system testing and project transitions.
- Assist support teams as needed.
- Deep knowledge of London Market wholesale insurance processes (Policy, Claims, Technical Accounting).
- Understanding of broking system messaging flows.
- Experience of one of the following existing Broking products (Brokasure Enterprise, Brokasure Desktop or Global XB).
- Awareness of Lloyd\’s Blueprint II.
- Experience working with insurance software vendors or brokers/underwriters.
- Experience with a major Insurance Broking system.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage client expectations and navigate challenging situations.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with leading Broking products (experience with specific products is beneficial, but not essential).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
