The Role:

Working closely with Financial Advisers, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of holistic financial planning advice. This position offers a broad range of responsibilities and the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise across multiple areas of financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing high-quality suitability reports and supporting documentation
  • Conducting detailed research to identify suitable financial planning solutions
  • Providing technical support to advisers across pensions, investments, trusts, and IHT planning
  • Preparing client review documentation, including investment and pension analysis
  • Undertaking cashflow modelling and supporting client strategy discussions
  • Performing technical calculations including CGT, pension benefits, and bond withdrawals
  • Ensuring all client work is compliant with FCA requirements and internal standards
  • Collaborating with advisers to fully understand client objectives and deliver appropriate recommendations

About You:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or actively working towards)
  • Experience within a paraplanning role, supporting financial advisers
  • Strong report writing and technical analysis skills
  • Good understanding of financial planning processes and regulatory requirements
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
