Mbf are working with an award-winning, national financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Team Manager. Our client is a multi-faced business, offering a range of services across financial planning, corporate wealth and employee benefits. This position will join their growing financial planning division, leading and managing a team of highly experienced individuals. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Manager to join their Bath office.
This is a senior leadership role within the client relationship function, offering genuine influence, progression and the opportunity to shape service delivery across the firm.
The OpportunityThis role will see you leading and developing client relationship teams, ensuring consistently high standards of service, operational efficiency and an outstanding client experience. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and play a key role in driving a client-centric culture. While the role is based in Bath, there will be occasional travel to other UK offices as required (all travel fully paid).
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop client relationship teams, driving high performance and service excellence
- Embed best-practice client service standards across teams
- Oversee resource planning, performance management and service delivery against agreed SLAs
- Support client retention and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver change initiatives and continuous improvement
- Ensure FCA compliance, risk management and operational controls are adhered to
- Act as a role model for the firm’s values and collaborative ways of working
- Proven leadership experience within financial services, ideally in financial planning or wealth management
- Strong background in client service or client relationship management
- Confident managing and developing teams through growth and change
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a regulated environment with a strong compliance mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other UK offices
Basic salary up to £60,000 (dependent on experience). Strong benefits package: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, group life assurance, pension, PMI and much more.
