Overview
A respected wealth management firm is looking for an Associate Paraplanner to join their growing team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee paraplanner or an IFA administrator keen to develop their career and gain hands-on paraplanning experience. Hybrid working arrangement (3 days office / 2 days home).
The Role
You will undertake lower-level paraplanning duties while working closely with senior paraplanners to support Financial Advisers and provide an exceptional service to clients. This role is ideal if you have some knowledge of financial planning and are motivated to progress towards becoming a fully qualified paraplanner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of suitability reports and other paraplanning tasks
- Conduct research to support financial planning recommendations
- Work under the guidance of senior paraplanners to develop your technical skills
- Liaise with Advisers, clients, and providers as part of the service process
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Requirements
- Some experience in paraplanning, IFA administration, or related financial services role
- Completion of a few relevant RO exams or equivalent knowledge
- Strong interest in progressing to achieve the Diploma in Financial Planning
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Motivated, eager to learn, and a team player
