An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Investment Manager to join a leading UK wealth management business in Leeds. Working alongside an experienced and highly successful team, you will support the management of client portfolios, deliver exceptional client service and continue your development towards becoming a fully-fledged Investment Manager. This is a busy, high-performing team and, as such, they are looking for someone who can add value from day one rather than requiring extensive training. In return, there is a clear and realistic pathway to progress to Investment Manager level within 1-2 years, with significant opportunities for further progression beyond that.
The Role:
- Supporting the ongoing management of client portfolios and ensuring they remain aligned with client objectives and mandates
- Building strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and professional connections
- Conducting investment research and contributing to discussions around portfolio positioning and asset allocation
- Assisting with suitability reviews and client reporting
- Working closely with Financial Planners and other specialists to deliver holistic outcomes for clients
- Supporting business development activities and helping to strengthen professional relationships
