Location: Wigan, Hybrid

Salary: Up to £45,000 plus benefits

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing national wealth management business based in Wigan.

The successful candidate will work closely with Financial Planners, providing high-quality technical support across a broad range of financial planning cases. The company is particularly interested in people who want to continue developing, whether that means progressing into a more senior technical position or potentially moving towards Financial Advice in the future.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed research and analysis

• Preparing suitability reports and financial planning recommendations

• Supporting Financial Planners with technically complex cases

• Reviewing clients’ existing arrangements and identifying suitable solutions

• Ensuring all advice and documentation meet regulatory and internal standards

• Working closely with Financial Planners, Administrators and other members of the wider support team

• Maintaining accurate client records and helping to deliver a consistently high standard of service

About you:

• Previous experience working in a Paraplanning role

• A minimum of approximately one year’s relevant Paraplanning experience

• Level 4 Diploma qualified

• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection

• Good research, analytical and report-writing skills

• A careful and organised approach with excellent attention to detail

• Comfortable working collaboratively with Financial Planners and support colleagues
