Bolton
Join our Tax team as a Compliance Specialist, overseeing all tax compliance matters.
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working pattern: 2-3 days per week in the office.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
MBDA seeks a UK Tax Compliance Specialist to assist with all aspects of UK tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparing documents for review, including Research & Development Expenditure Credit Claims, UK Corporation Tax Computations, PAYE reporting returns (PSA, P11D(b), share scheme return), and SAO report.
- Supporting Central Finance with Monthly Tax Reporting for statutory accounts and audits.
- Providing technical advice for VAT Return Preparation.
- Supporting ad hoc tax compliance projects for the Head of UK Tax Compliance & Customs.
What we\’re looking for:
- A qualified tax specialist (CTA or ATT) with proven experience in Corporate Taxes and tax reporting.
- Ability to manage all aspects of UK Tax compliance.
- Good accountancy knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience in industry or practice with strong technical skills applicable commercially.
