UK Tax Compliance Specialist

Join our Tax team as a Compliance Specialist, overseeing all tax compliance matters. Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience Hybrid working pattern: 2-3 days per week in the office. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. Successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. Key Responsibilities include: Preparation of research & development expenditure credit claims, UK corporation tax computations, PAYE reporting returns (including PSA, P11D(b), share scheme return), and SAO report Supporting Central Finance with monthly tax reporting for statutory accounts and auditors\’ queries Providing technical advice for VAT return preparation Supporting ad hoc tax compliance projects What we’re looking for: Qualified tax specialist (CTA or ATT) with experience in corporate taxes and tax reporting Ability to handle all aspects of UK tax compliance Good accountancy knowledge (advantageous) Strong technical skills applicable commercially, from practice or industry Our company: MBDA is a leading defence organisation supporting armed forces worldwide.
