UK Tax Compliance Specialist

Join our Tax team as a Compliance Specialist, overseeing all tax compliance matters. Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience Hybrid working pattern: 2-3 days per week in the office. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. Key Responsibilities include: Preparing research & development expenditure credit claims, UK corporation tax computations, PAYE reporting returns (including PSA, P11D(b), share scheme return), and SAO report for review. Supporting Central Finance with monthly tax reporting, statutory accounts, and auditor queries. Providing technical advice for VAT return preparation. Supporting ad hoc tax compliance projects. What we’re looking for from you: Qualified tax specialist (CTA or ATT) with proven experience in corporate taxes and reporting. Ability to handle all aspects of UK tax compliance. Good accountancy knowledge is advantageous. Strong technical skills applicable across industry or from practice, with a commercial mindset.
