We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Mechanical Test Engineer to join our dynamic team within Manufacturing. Employment details Salary : Circa £44,000 depending on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working : 4/5 days on site due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The opportunity: Providing technical support to Operations for environmental and mechanical testing of weapon systems in development and production, to ensure programme targets are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements. Providing environmental and mechanical test engineering technical support during design / development phases from initial concept through to Production Readiness Review and release to Operations. Supporting test facility introduction and ensuring that configuration control of equipment and facilities is in place prior to use, generating risk assessments, supporting test specifications and operator instructions. Support ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) and mechanical test with diagnosis of production test issues in conjunction with the Calibration
