The predicted salary is between 49500 - 60500 £ per year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven individual to use their knowledge and expertise to implement a structured Test Philosophy for our current and future products. This is a highly visible role, providing you with the opportunity to collaborate across and network with a wide range of different business areas.

Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience

Location: Stevenage, Bolton or Bristol (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working depending on workload classification.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

This is a phenomenal and unique opportunity to experience a broader view of the development and manufacturing processes through interaction with multiple skills within MBDA for a given project and programme. You will join a growing motivated, focussed and multi-disciplined team, where communication and the ethos to share information is key. You will join a team that is dedicated to improving the way it works, how it interacts with other functions; with a strong interest in the development of its people.

You will lead the implementation of the Production Test Philosophy within a Programme including:

  • Definition of Test Equipment Requirements for the product.
  • Deployment of diagnostic strategies for production.
  • Verifying the Test Coverage of our current and future products to ensure they deliver the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborating with Manufacturing and Production Design Support teams for Production Test activities.

As an expert in this domain, you will get the opportunity to share your subject knowledge with the wider project team and your peers.

What we're looking for from you:

Required

  • Ideally degree qualified or suitable equivalent experience with demonstrable experience in or track record of Mathematics, Physics or Engineering fields.
  • Experience Awareness of Development and Production Test Techniques and implementation.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite with good communication Skills.

Desired

  • Knowledge of structured Model based System Engineering (MBSE) techniques.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of test strategies and Automated Test Equipment for new products.
  • Some experience of collaborating with Manufacturing Teams and Design teams.
